In 1988 Morris Wines decided to produce a sparkling red wine known then as 'Sparkling Burgundy.' Shiraz was the traditional base, but Morris discovered that by including Durif it added extra flavour & richness. A unique sparkling red with intense beading and rich robust flavour – it is big, bold and beautiful.

Winemaker Notes
The colour is medium to deep crimson with red hues, with rich and earthy aromas of ripe fruit and spice. There is a full flavoured palate of dark fruits, chocolate and savoury influences balanced by soft tannins.
Production
After blending all components of the base, the wine is bottled with yeast, and allowed 12 to 18 months contact to impart richness and complexity.
