When The Laira Vineyard founder Captain Stentiford arrived in Coonawarra, the single track rail line had only recently been opened in 1887. Today in the heart of the Coonawarra the old train station borders on one of Brand’s Laira’s most important blocks. This Rosé is light and crisp showing lovely refreshing aromas and flavours of strawberry and cherry with a hint of tropical fruit.

Winemaker Notes
The nose displays fresh perfumed strawberry and cherry fruits. The palate is fresh and crisp, displaying an array of tropical berry fruits with lingering flavours. Drink this Rosé now and chilled, while it is young and vibrant.
Production
The juice from different varieties was kept separate and was cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit aromatics. At completion of fermentation, our various fruit parcels were assessed for quality and style before the final blend was decided.
