Named in honour of founder Eric Brand, one of the original ‘Blockers’ (landholders who sold their grapes to larger wineries in the 1950s and 60s). Our Blockers Cabernet is one of the icons of our range. Made in classic Coonawarra style, it is the perfect combination of rich fruit, complexity and elegance.

Production Notes
Fruit was harvested then de-stemmed and crushed prior to fermentation on skins for 7 days on average. This wine was fermented and matured in a mixture of fine grained French and American oak barrels
Winemaker Notes
The palate is smooth and round with a base of solid yet fine tannins with rich dark fruit flavours, and well integrated spice and pencil shaving oak. The finish is long and persistent with lingering fruit flavours.
