A limited release, from an excellent year that shows just how unique Barossa Cabernet can be. Deep red. Lifted violet and cassis, fragranced by touches of briary fruits and dark chocolate. Rich and classic Barossa Cabernet tannin structure, giving a long length, balanced by flavours of blue fruits and cassis.
Deeply coloured with a bright purple hue, a bouquet of blackcurrant, turkish delight and raspberry with lavender spice in the background. The palate has concentrated cassis, spice and subtle blackcurrant with lingering yet balanced sweetness.
Production run was limited to just 6000 500mL bottles.
Straw yellow in appearance, the wine has aromas of lemon peel, honey and wax with lemon sherbert and butterscotch. The palate is lucious with lovely dried apricots, lemon marmalade, toffee characters with a soft finish of lemon acidity.
